Pool lighting in NSW must comply with strict electrical safety requirements because of the proximity of water and people. In-pool lights must operate at extra-low voltage (ELV) or use an isolating transformer to limit shock risk. Above-pool area lighting and underwater fittings each have different compliance requirements under AS/NZS 3000.
We install new in-pool niche fittings, replace failed luminaires in existing niches, run conduit from the pool equipment area, install isolating transformers, and connect above-pool garden or entertainment area lighting. All work is completed to current wiring rules and NSW Fair Trading requirements. A CCEW is issued for notifiable work.
RGB colour-changing LED pool lights have become the standard for new Sydney pool builds. They are energy-efficient, last significantly longer than halogen equivalents, and can be controlled from a smartphone or wall controller. We supply quality LED fittings or install customer-supplied units from major brands.
